ECOCERT enjoys a leading position in Greek market as a specialized and reliable Verification Body.
From the first year of application of EU ETS Directive untill now, ECOCERT have completed the Verification of over 160 GHG Emission Reports in Greece and Balkans.
Especially in Greek market, ECOCERT undertakes each year an increasing amount of over 50 (from a total of 150) installations, such as: Public Power Corporation / DEH (10 installations), Fthiotida Papermills S.A., Steel Industry (Hellenic / 3 inst, SOVEL S.A.), Ceramics (Anagnostara Bros, Vavouliotis - Gounaris - Mitakis / 2 inst, Rafina, Katsikis, Vasilikou, Nikou, etc), Lime Industry (CaO Hellas / 3 inst, Devetzoglou, Velestinou, Doukeris, etc).
Verification of GHG Emmision Reports
ECOCERT is an Accredited Verification Body for the verification of GHG Emission Reports according to ETS EU Directive (2003/87/EU) and M&R Decision (2004/156/EU).
Accreditation
ECOCERT has achieved both UKAS and ESYD Accreditation to EN 45011 for the verification of GHG Emission Reports under ETS EU Directive on 22 February 2006. The scope of accreditation covers the whole range of activities included on Annex 1 of Directive (2003/87/EU).
